If you happen to be in Fort Worth, Texas, you could see a strange train puttering along a road. You might have to perform a double take when you discover it’s a dog-filled train!

Locals are familiar with Eugene Bostick, who is eighty years old and runs a “dog train.” He’s been operating the tractor while hauling eight barrels for numerous years.

The retiree created the train for the stray dogs he and his brother had rescued over the years when individuals discarded the pets near their homes.

“I began with my tractor. I had a little trailer in which I loaded four or five dogs and took them for a ride. Then more dogs appeared, and I said, “Uh-oh!” ‘There isn’t enough room!’ “It’s when I came up with that,” Bostick told NBCDFW about how the dog train came to be.

Tiffany Johnson, who has seen him pass by her workplace on a daily basis, recently decided to photograph him. “He rescues stray dogs and takes them on a train ride by our building every morning; I finally worked up the courage to ask if I could take his picture!” After uploading the photo, she remarked on Facebook, “I love this and wanted to share it!”

Tiffany explained to one commenter that the dogs never leap out. They appear to know exactly what to do, and they yap excitedly on their journey! Tiffany said, “He just saves them from the pound!” when asked where Bostick finds the stray dogs. He claims that individuals “send off their pets that they can no longer care for to him.”

Bostick appears to have been traveling with his rescue pack on trains for quite some time! He occasionally winds up at the Sycamore Golf Course at the back of his home, where golfers smile and watch.
