A Man Spent Two Years Writing His Memoir in Order to Pop the Question to His Girlfriend in the Last Chapter, Which He Entitled “Happy Ending…”

Roz Weston authored a book only for the purpose of proposing to the lady he loves in a chapter of the book that he kept from her until the appropriate moment.

In September, the veteran TV anchor and journalist, who is now 48 years old, published his book titled “A Little Bit Broken.” And he utilized his last chapter to obtain a life partner in the form of his now-fiancée Katherine Holland by posting the video on YouTube.

“Katherine looked through every draft as I wrote it for about two years, but I preserved the final chapter,” Weston, co-host of The Roz & Mocha Show, tells , “when I finally got my hands on a physical copy of the book, I invited Katherine to join our child and me as we read it for the first time. I have the whole thing on tape, and when you see it, I guarantee that it will make you weep.”

Weston’s plan took her two years to develop, and in the video clip when she reads the last chapter, her husband Holland and their daughter Roxy, who is 13 years old, sat by her side.

“I had no clue whatsoever,” she says,  “Roz is wonderful at constantly trying to make nice surprises for us, so it didn’t seem too out of the norm, but I definitely didn’t anticipate a proposal.”

“We had never really considered getting married, as it wasn’t really a priority for either of us — except that we thought it would be nice if our daughter could be a part of it — so I was honestly astonished,” she said.

The presenter of the television show and podcast is already putting a lot of effort into the preparations for their upcoming wedding, which will be a simple affair held in July and include only very close friends.
