A Young Guy Steps Forward to Assist an Older Lady Who Is Struggling On the Ice, He Has No Idea That…

Isaiah McIntyre provided assistance to an elderly lady on December 8 so that she could enter the Katahdin General Store located in Millinocket. It all began when he saw the elderly lady sliding and falling on a patch of ice while simultaneously holding her cane in one hand and her handbag in the other.

He exited his vehicle, approached the woman, and inquired if she needed any assistance before assisting her to the dry pavement. The woman thanked him, and he continued on his way, not considering the incident to be very significant.

On the other hand, there was a female onlooker who documented the events with a camera and uploaded them on Facebook.

Users were able to identify the woman in the photo as 93-year-old Marjorie Moore. Moore stated that her children questioned why she went out on such a cold day, but she reassured them that it wasn’t that cold and that there was only a little bit of ice on the sidewalk.

Moore, who will age 94 in January and currently lives alone in an apartment at an assisted living home, said that she thanked the guy and told him he was a very lovely person. More than 2,600 individuals in Maine and as far away as Italy have left notes and comments on the image after sharing it online.

Mcintrye, who has been startled by all the praises, adds, “It’s not every day that you see people respond positively towards other people.”
