An Unfortunate Automobile Crash Takes the Life of a Teenager’s Boyfriend, but Then Someone Special Asks Her to the Prom…

If there is one point on which the vast majority of us can converge, it is that parents must never put their children to rest.

It is imperative that if young individuals do depart away as a result of unfortunate circumstances, we do all in our power to respect their brief lives and continue on their legacy.

That was exactly what one heartbroken father in Pennsylvania did, and he did it in a thoughtful and unexpected manner.

Carter Brown, who was 19 years old at the time, was on his way from Indiana State University to his home in Pennsylvania, where he planned to surprise his fiancée, Kaylee Suders.

Sadly, he was on his way to a romantic destination when he collided head-on with another vehicle and passed away instantly.

After he passed away, Kaylee made the decision that she would not attend the prom anymore since she believed that she would be unable to handle it without Carter there.

Carter’s father intervened so that she would not miss such a significant high school achievement since he did not want her to be left behind. Robert Brown, Carter’s dad, made the decision that he would be the one to take Kaylee to the prom.

He knew that if Carter were still alive, he would never want his cherished girlfriend to miss such a momentous occasion, and he was certain of this. When he eventually told Kaylee about his plan, she was overcome with emotion and couldn’t contain it.

Kelly, Robert’s wife, posted about the occasion on Facebook, gushing with satisfaction over the generous acts that her husband had performed.

The two bereaved parents were so caring and altruistic that they were able to look beyond their difficulties and continue doing things for other people. They set an example for all of us that we should strive to follow in their footsteps.
