Because she placed a higher priority on raising her children, Kate Middleton broke many royal traditions…

As a senior member of the royal family, Kate Middleton is recognized for many things; from her perfect taste in fashion to her love for causes, Kate has shown that she will be a great queen consort in the future.

However, she is also a fan favorite because of the role she plays as a mother to her three children, Prince George, who is nine, Princess Charlotte, who is seven, and Prince Louis, who is four. Kate has done an excellent job of combining her responsibilities as a working woman and a mother.

The same can be said for Prince William, who has shown that he is an excellent parent to all of his children.

William and Kate have made a concerted effort to demonstrate how typical a family they are by doing all in their power to keep their private lives out of the public eye. Due to the fact that the Prince and Princess of Wales have such a prominent position in the public eye, it was only a matter of time before people started to take note of the manner in which they interacted with their three gorgeous children.

They  have never failed to exhibit nothing but love, affection, and support for one another and their children over the countless occasions on which they have participated as a family.

However, throughout the course of the years, many people have taken note of Kate Middleton’s personal touch in selecting what is best for her children, who are now the second, third, and fourth in line to the throne, despite the fact that this goes against royal tradition in some manner.

For example, they make sure their children are seen by making eye contact with them, and they keep their children protected from the cameras by shielding them. Despite the fact that they are royalty, they have shown time and time again that they are incredible parents to their children.

Even while William and Kate are well aware of the benefits of their privileged position, they make it a point to bring up their children in a way that is grounded in reality. “William and Kate very much emphasize bringing up the children in as regular an atmosphere as possible above anything else…. They haven’t forgotten about it at all.”

The decision that Kate and William have made to adjust certain aspects of their family life comes from their desire to provide their children with a “normal” upbringing. Among them include increasing the amount of time spent together and going into much more depth on the manner in which parents want their children to learn and develop.

You won’t believe this, but there is a policy in place about the age at which royal male children are permitted to wear pants in public.

Boys are required to wear shorts and knee-high socks until they are around 8 years old.

Nevertheless, during the course of the previous several years, both Louis and George have been observed wearing pants, despite the fact that they have not yet reached the age required.

Kate, being the doting mother that she is, has also been seen on multiple occasions attempting to grab a hold of her children when they are out in public.  Kate Middleton, despite the fact that she is a member of the royal family, is not afraid to discipline her children on occasion when they are not behaving properly.

However, apart from those, the decision that the Prince and Princess of Wales made on the educational establishments that their children would attend is considered by many to be the most remarkable departure from royal tradition that they have made.

Historically, young royals were removed from their homes and sent to boarding schools located in remote locations in order to get an education. For instance, similar to his father, Prince Phillip, King Charles received his education at the Gordonstound School in Scotland.

William and Kate made the decision to send George to Thomas Battersea despite the fact that this is also to be anticipated for George and his siblings. The Wales family has not kept up with this particular custom throughout the years. In a short amount of time after George entered Battersea, his sister Charlotte also became a student there.

They are the first siblings of opposite genders to have attended a school together that accepts students of both genders. It wasn’t until the family revealed in October 2022 that they would be relocating from Kensington to Windsor, and that they would be attending Lambrook School, that the parents made the decision to transfer their children there.

Because Kate has shown how involved she is in the day-to-day operations of her family, it is reasonable to anticipate that she will make the decision to let her children attend schools based on their individual preferences.
