There is a consensus among experts that Chuck Norris is one of the greatest martial artists in the world.

He has earned notoriety as a well-known actor by skillfully incorporating his understanding of martial arts into a variety of films, which has contributed to his success in this field.

However, it would seem that, out of all the roles he has played throughout the years, the one he plays as a parent brings him the greatest amount of pride.

When Norris was just 18 years old, he married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Kay Holechek, who was only 17 years old at the time of their wedding. After thirty years of marriage, Norris and Holechek welcomed two sons into their family.

While serving in the United States Air Force in California, Norris had an affair with a woman called Johanna. At the time, he was still married to Holechek, and the affair occurred around one year after the birth of their first son.

It wasn’t until Johanna’s daughter, Dina DiCiolli, contacted him 26 years later that he found out she was pregnant with his child. He had never informed Johanna he was married, so he had no clue she was carrying his child.

Since she was 16 years old, when she overheard her mother telling someone else that Norris was her father, she had known that he was, but it took her years to get up the courage to write to him and inform him.

Norris said that he did not need a DNA test to confirm that Dina was really his daughter, and he expressed his gratitude to Johanna for making the choice to raise the kid on her own.

Norris said that when he finally did see his daughter after so many years, he wrapped his arms around her and shed happy tears down his cheeks.

On Father’s Day in 2017, the actor wrote a statement on Facebook in which he referred to becoming a dad as “one of God’s greatest pleasures a man can experience.”
