Jiu-jitsu matches may be brutal. One worried canine felt the same way and decided to take action.

Audiences were treated to a four-legged interference call recently at the Campeonato Nacional Open, which was hosted by the Liga Chilena de Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the city of Valparaiso, when a dog marched into the stadium and charged directly at two participants fighting on the mat.

In the now-viral video, the enormous black dog approaches the couple and then sleeps directly on top of the man wearing the white gi, as if shielding him from harm.
