The “Bombshell” actress Nicole Kidman is the proud mother of four children. Her two eldest children, Connor and Bella, were born during her marriage to actor Tom Cruise, while her two youngest, Faith and Connor, were born after her marriage to Keith Urban.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman said that she has ingrained her religion in her children, and they routinely attend church despite being bullied by their peers. Her personal life has always been intertwined with religion, and not only Catholicism.
Kidman has been in a number of popular films and television programs throughout the years, including “The Hours,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Big Little Lies,” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.” Her successful work has drawn a lot of attention to her personal life, and her first marriage was no exception.
The lucky one was “Mission: Impossible” star Tom Cruise, one of the Church of Scientology’s most prominent adherents. The ex-couple met on the set of “Days of Thunder” in 1989 and hit it off right away.
They married one year after meeting and were eager to start a family right away. Kidman became pregnant shortly after saying “I do,” but regrettably lost her child due to an ectopic pregnancy.
Kidman’s and Cruise’s lives have been drastically altered. They still wanted children, so they adopted Isabella and Connor, who were born in December 1992 and January 1995, respectively.
Both children grew up as Scientologists after joining Cruise and Kidman’s household through the Church of Scientology. In 2001, the actress became pregnant again, but she miscarried. Cruise filed for divorce later that year.
Isabella and Connor remained with Cruise and Scientology, and Kidman was allegedly dubbed a “suppressive person”—a church opponent who obstructs the advancement of other Scientologists or the Scientology cause.
Kidman’s designation as Scientology’s “suppressive person” allegedly resulted in a troubled connection with her children. They don’t see each other much lately.
However, the church, Kidman, and her children have pointed out that religion has nothing to do with that. In 2014, Connor noted that he loved Kidman and regarded their relationship as “stable.”

The actress once stated that her children were adults who could make their own decisions and that she respected their values by keeping their lives private.
Kidman stated to Isabella that she lives outside of London because she has always felt English. Although the “Aquaman” actor missed her daughter’s 2015 wedding to IT expert Max Parker, she bonded with both kids during the coronavirus outbreak.

Connor is currently residing in Clearwater, Florida. Aside from his position in Scientology’s highest echelons, he owns and operates Connor’s Meat Shack, a BBQ restaurant. He is also a deep-sea fisherman, and he is said to have married fellow Scientologist Silvia Zanchi in 2019.
In Bella’s instance, she is an auditor in the UK chapter of the Church of Scientology. She went straight to social media to thank her dad for helping her do something so amazing.

Kidman might not have the nicest connection with her adoptive children, but things have improved with her new family. She had her daughter Sunday in 2008 after marrying country music singer Keith Urban in June 2006.
The couple’s second daughter, Faith, joined the family in 2010 via gestational surrogacy. Both Kidman and Urban want to keep their girls out of the spotlight, but they sometimes share images of them on social media.
On Memorial Day 2021, Urban posted a photo of his wife and kids with their backs to the camera and facing a lowered American flag.

The actress said her girls were “global children,” with pals worldwide since they have lived in different places. She continued, saying:
“My girls moan that they have to travel a lot since that’s their lifestyle, but the most important thing is that we maintain our family together.”
Kidman adores parenting and regrets not having more children. She would have wanted to have 10 children, but life had other ideas for her.
Because of her reproductive troubles, she could only bear four children. Now, she “gets to mother” other children, including her nieces, nephews, and 12 godchildren.
The actor from “Being the Ricardos” stated that she adored children because they were quirky, humorous, and “unfiltered.” She also likes watching them develop and go their separate ways.

Kidman may have spent a decade as a member of the Church of Scientology during her relationship with Cruise, but she grew up in an Irish Catholic household.
Her grandmother was “extremely Catholic,” trained her to pray, and gave her a diamond-studded cross, which she seldom removes. Kidman has previously stated that she is a spiritual person who “definitely” believes in God.
The actress even stated her desire to become a nun. She was “extremely pulled” toward that route, but she ultimately chose to be one of Hollywood’s most successful actors.

Kidman, as predicted, is not hesitant to speak openly about her religious convictions, and many of her friends make fun of her for it. Still, she takes her family to church on a regular basis since that is how she and Urban raise their children. She explained:
“Keith has his own views, yet he also attends.” I wouldn’t say it’s absolutism. “I’m a stubborn, fiery girl, therefore I’m always questioned.”
Kidman told Jimmy Fallon on his program in 2021 when she realized Urban was the one. He arrived early on her birthday with flowers, and “that was all.”
It’s worth noting that Kidman and Urban had only known each other for six months when Urban made his daring approach. They have now been married for 16 years and counting. What a lovely pair!
