In the year 2010, a youngster who was in the sixth grade and had a fantastic voice and even more potential posted a video of himself performing “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga. The video did not become an overnight sensation, but it quickly became viral on the internet and eventually found its way into the entertainment industry.

At long last, the video gained momentum and spread like wildfire, racking up millions upon millions of views along the way. Now, that young pupil has matured into a successful person in his own right and has become a celebrity.

Chance was asked to appear as a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ program, where he would also get the opportunity to sing, not long after his videos attracted the notice of the talk show host. Even further, Ellen DeGeneres took Chance under her wing and signed him to her record label eleveneleven.

After that, Chance started a career in the music business, but he eventually had to go away for a while before he could enter the field again on his own terms. However, in the year 2022, he pondered the video that had set the whole thing in motion.

Chance gave the world his first taste of music with the publication of his first song “Waiting Outside the Lines” in October of 2010, followed by the release of his debut studio album “Hold On ’til the Night” in the summer of 2011.

Chance continues to release new songs, including extended plays and full-length albums, during the course of his career. Even further, he has already begun exploring new professional avenues and will make his acting debut in the film “Maybelline Prince” in the year 2023.

On the talk program that Ellen DeGeneres hosts in 2019, Chance chatted with DeGeneres about his career, which began when he was only 12 years old. After reaching the age of 18, he took the decision to leave Los Angeles and enroll in a nearby university.

Eventually, though, he found his way back to Los Angeles and the music scene there. Chance remembers saying, “Let’s go back and let’s do it, but let’s do it on my terms this time.”

When he was 16, he disclosed his gender identity to his family; nevertheless, he did not come out publicly until he was 19 years old. After a supporter reached out to inform Chance about his challenges with coming out but that his music was inspirational, Chance realized that the moment had come for him to share his experience.

In April of 2022, Chance published a post on Instagram in which he discussed his career in further detail.

He said that he has “tried to disassociate” himself from “being labeled as ‘the paparazzi child'” due to the fact that he has undergone a significant transformation since that time.
