When the owner of a dog finally found his lost pet after two days of searching, he was so overjoyed that he sobbed tears of joy.
The Jack Russell terrier named Mitzi went missing when she was out for a walk in the neighborhood of Woodford Green, which is located in the borough of Redbridge in London, England as she was being pursued by another dog.
The owner, Alan Whitton, along with his friends had spent two days searching for her in the woods, but on the third day, he got a call from another dog walker saying that her dog had been sniffing around a fox hole.
Alan Whitton was relieved to learn this information because it led him and his friends to the location of the missing dog.
When he began squeaking one of Mitzi’s favorite toys at the entrance of the hole, he heard a small moan, and that’s when he went in to save Mitzi.
Alan expressed his emotions by saying, “I simply broke down. I was filled with excitement and astonishment, and I had begun to lose faith.
It was like a Christmas miracle, but at the same time it seemed like a nightmare from which I couldn’t wake up,” he said.
