The fact that Leonardo DiCaprio and Brendan Fraser are working together again in Monsters of the Flower Moon makes Brendan Fraser very thrilled.

In a new interview, Fraser, 53, discussed the experience of reuniting with the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor for the first time in many years when they began shooting the next movie directed by Martin Scorsese.

According to Fraser, who will soon be featured in The Whale, he first met Leonardo DiCaprio, who is now 48 years old, “when he was I believe probably all of, I don’t know, 17, 16 maybe.”

When they first met in the 1990s, Fraser stated, “I suppose I had just been in School Ties or something then, and I was kind of confused, but all I wanted to do was tell him “Hear, hear.”

That is just unbelievable.’  And he reiterated that to me,” the actor remarked, referring to a conversation he had with Leonardo DiCaprio when they got together again to work on their new film. “He had a recollection of me. He told me, “You were the only one who didn’t treat me like a small child and I’ll never forget what he said.”

Fraser will play a defense lawyer in the upcoming movie directed by Scorsese. This brings the two actors back together after their careers took divergent turns after they both rose to prominence in the 1990s.
