Harley Quinn has returned with another replica-worthy fashion moment.
Margot Robbie’s most recent endeavor is about 1920s Hollywood and the shift from silent cinema to talking pictures. If it doesn’t sound like the ideal environment for the actress, you haven’t been paying attention to her acting abilities. Aside from her countless awards and the much-anticipated return of Barbie, her red carpet-attire has always been noteworthy.
Robbie wore a black hooded gown with an open back to the launch of her new film Babylon on Thursday, December 15. Her stomach was exposed since the gown was wrapped around her in the front. The dress was knotted at the waist, with a train of cloth falling down her leg. The dress’s short length required sheer black Calzedonia tights (it is January, after all), and a single silver bracelet as jewelry.
While the gown itself was understated in its opaque fabric, the silhouette proved to be daring with lots of exposed skin, not to mention a fur-lined hem. The ultra-glam outfit was inspired by Pieter Mulier’s current Alaa Winter/Spring 2023 collection. Robbie accessorized well on the red carpet, accompanied by her mother, who complemented her daughter’s black gown with a sleek, long-sleeve black gown with dazzling shoulder embellishments and a deep V-cut neckline.
The film will be released on December 23, 2022, with a star-studded cast that includes fellow red carpet diva Olivia Wilde.
