Michael Bublé, a Canadian musician, met his future wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, in a Buenos Aires parking lot in 2009. He had just finished performing in a stadium and was in the basement when the Argentine beauty passed by.
Bublé recalled seeing Lopilato for the first time during an interview on “Access” in 2019. He explained that he was with his grandfather at the time when he sensed something in him.
“I looked at my grandfather and exclaimed, “Grandfather, this is the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen,” she explained. But the couple did not immediately strike up a discussion as the “Sway” singer returned to his hotel.
After a few beers, a pal inquired whether he would be ready to socialize with some of the building’s famous actors. He ran across Lopilato again, this time with a male friend that Bublé mistook for her spouse.
He remembered not immediately attempting to date her since she barely spoke English. Despite this, Bublé continued to drink and solely spoke to Lopilato’s buddy, stating, “Oh my goodness, you guys are such a good-looking couple.”
To his surprise, the said friend revealed that he and Lopilato were not romantically linked and that she loved Bublé. Surprisingly, she thought he was gay the entire time he was chatting with her actor buddy, since he seemed more interested in her companion for the night.
Bublé began chatting with Lopilato, who was accompanied by her sister, and fortunately for him, she could speak more English and understood what he said to her. He told Lopilato that she was lovely and that he would want to get to know her better.
Meanwhile, Lopilato told the Daily Mail in August 2012 that she wanted to attend her future husband’s concert because she liked his music, but she didn’t know what he looked like.

As he started talking to her, he made his intentions extremely clear. According to the model, the pop singer told her that one day he will marry her: “You are my wife,” he said as I was leaving the party. You’re not aware of it yet. “Of course you want me to be your wife; every man wants to marry me, so we’ll see!” I said.
Three months after they met, Bublé wrote Lopilato, telling her that he would travel to Argentina for three days to get to know her better and meet her family.

The plan was quickly put into action when the couple spent the first evening of his three-day visit, their first formal date, having supper with her entire family at her house.
Lopilato is the eldest of three children. She was born to Beatriz and Eduardo, and she has an older sister, Danielle, and an older brother, Dario.

That’s when she understood Bublé was serious about proposing marriage to her. Lopilato stated that she believed Bublé was sincere for one specific reason: “This is true,’ I thought because my father never cries.” As a result, I began to weep as well. “I loved how he proposed; I am a family person, and it was great that he said it in front of everyone.”
The pair married in Buenos Aires in 2011, and six weeks later, they married again near Bublé’s relatives in Vancouver.

Noah, the couple’s first child, was born on August 27, 2013. “Overjoyed and overwhelmed with thankfulness with the arrival of our son, Noah Bublé,” the delighted father posted on Instagram at the time.
Lopilato gave birth to the couple’s kid in Vancouver, Canada, and had “seven hours of labor” in the days preceding the delivery due to a false alarm.

Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer two years later, hurting the family of four. His father realized his firstborn had cancer while promoting his ninth album, Nobody But Me, released in 2018.
In October 2016, just minutes before performing on “The One Show” in London, Bublé got a text from Lopilato, along with a snapshot of their child’s surgical scan, delivering the news.
“I just died,” claimed Bublé, who performed regardless of the news. He didn’t know how he could perform with such a heavy heart. “I don’t know how I even sang, dude; I just did it on autopilot,” the Grammy winner continued.

Bublé and Lopilato announced Noah’s condition in a November 2016 Facebook post, stating that they had both paused their careers:
“We are heartbroken by our oldest son Noah’s recent cancer diagnosis, for which he is presently receiving treatment in the United States. Luisana and I have placed our professions on hold to devote our full time and attention to Noah’s recovery.
Bublé candidly discussed the impact of the illness on his family in October 2018, admitting there were days when he and his wife “wished we didn’t wake up.”
Hearing his kid had cancer was “the worst imaginable thing that you could hear as a parent, and perhaps as a human being,” the father of three told “Today,” an Australian morning news show.
Instead, he hoped he had been the one diagnosed with the condition, stating, “Many times I wish that it had been,” according to Bublé. Yet, the overwhelming response from loved ones, including strangers, helped to console the couple.
Bublé reminisced on his son’s cancer fight in 2021, sharing how the tragedy had affected him as a father. He claims to be living a “deeper existence now.”

Bublé emphasized that he does not “wish that type of agony on any human being,” but he does believe that “when you’ve actually suffered, when you’ve truly faced fear and grief, it allows you to live a richer life.” He went on to say that after such an encounter, one will be able to “really feel joy, thanks, and happiness.”
Noah’s cancer has been in remission since 2017. Noah appeared on his parents’ Instagram Live feed after conquering the sickness, sitting on his mother’s lap.

“It’s so difficult to admit because it’s so unpleasant to talk about.” “We received the diagnosis, and my entire life came to an end.”
But he and Lopilato found happiness again following the birth of their third child, Vida, in July 2018. The mother of three expressed her gratitude to God for the gift and joy he bestowed upon them, noting that their first daughter gives them “hope.”
