Michael Douglas has some surprising things to say about his life as a married man to Catherine Zeta-Jones…

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who have been married for twenty years, have come up with an X-rated approach to keep their relationship exciting. This is particularly true when it comes to their shared passion for the game of golf.

During a recent interview, Michael stated that the pair’s competitive spirit has led them to come up with a pretty spicy forfeit to help them spice up their time on the course. The couple, who were recently neighbors with King Charles III, are enthusiastic players of the sport.

In an interview, the actor, who is 78 years old, said, “The regulations state that I have to whip it out if I don’t hit it over the ladies’ shirts, which is something I manage to achieve most of the time.”

“But, there have been moments when we have been playing by ourselves, and since we are competitive, I have felt the need to put on a little show for her. But only when I am engaged in the activity with my wife.”

Catherine had previously disclosed their scandalous wager during an interview on The Graham Norton Show, nevertheless, she added that it’s not only her husband that she makes “drop his trousers” for.

“I’m really good, better than [Michael], and we have a bet that if he ducks a round, he has to remove his trousers,” she stated.

Michael and Catherine initially crossed paths in 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival; nevertheless, the Welsh actress was not instantly taken in by Michael’s good looks and charisma.

On his interview on Jonathan Ross’s program in 2016, Michael shared the following story with the host: “I met her at the bar and was a real gentleman.” Later on that night, the actor made his move and cheekily told the actress, “You know, I’m going to be the father of your children.”

She reportedly responded by saying, “I’ve heard a lot about you, and I’ve seen a lot about you, and I believe it’s time that I say goodbye.”

In an interview with Access Hollywood in 2019, Catherine laughed about the first time she and Michael met and the self-assured statements Michael made: “You are aware of the worst aspect, aren’t you?

… He had a valid point.” The pair tied the knot in a grandiose ceremony that took place at the New York Plaza Hotel in November of the year 2000.
