That ’90s Show has been revived for a second season, much to the delight of many fans. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, stars of That ’70s Show, have already made a cameo appearance during the first season, playing the roles that brought them together all those years ago. In a recent interview with Esquire, Kutcher stated that Kunis refused to say no to performing on the show. “You know, we owe our entire careers to this program,” she says. “We’re going to do it regardless of the screenplay.” Then, Kutcher revealed more about their connection, including what Kunis thought of him following his divorce from Demi Moore in 2013.
Following the divorce, Kutcher recalled Kunis telling him that he was “an a**hole” while speaking with Esquire. When he said, “Was I…?” Kunis apparently doubled down on her assertion without waiting for him to finish his sentence, saying, “Yeah, you were an a**hole for a solid two years.” Moore stated in her 2019 biography, Inside Out, that Kutcher cheated on her twice during their marriage. While he is no longer concerned by the discovery, he was not pleased with Moore’s decision to publish it in her memoir. “I’d finally reached a point when the press had abandoned me and Mila, as well as my life and family. The next day, [the photographers] are at my children’s school.
Kutcher claimed that he and Kunis are currently in a much better and calmer place. In an interview with Extra about his next film, Your Place or Mine, he discussed the connections between the film and his personal life. “I mean, I related to this whole thing — someone you’ve been friends with for years on end, there’s no romantic connection there, you’re just friends, and then all of a sudden a switch flips and you’re suddenly… married and having a life together.” “He’s with Mila,” co-star Reese Witherspoon joked. “This is their actual life story, but I was cast as Mila.”
So, what has changed between Kutcher and Kunis? Their friendship and affection for one another created the foundation of their relationship. “The thing about Mila that accelerated our connection was that I had always admired her,” the actress told Esquire. “Her abilities, skills, and endowments But I knew she didn’t require my assistance. And she realized I didn’t need her.”
