For years, Paul Rudd’s unshakable youth has been a heated issue. From his role as the coolly charming Josh in Clueless to his appearance as the Marvel superhero Ant-Man more than a decade later, the 53-year-old actor is as fresh and fiery as ever. Rudd has finally revealed the “secret” to his age-defying beauty as the cover hero for the March 2023 issue of Men’s Health.
“Can you email me your food plan?” people ask. How often do you exercise every week? Do you consume alcohol? Do you consume carbohydrates? Do you ever indulge? The most crucial aspect of training is getting enough sleep. “Then food,” Rudd stated. Then there are the weights. Then it’s cardio.” He emphasized that those who only get four hours of sleep in order to fit in extra hours of training are doing their bodies a disservice.
The actor also stated that he works out at least three times each week and eats eggs every day. Most of his meals involve salmon, and his protein drinks are often a simple combination of “protein powder and water.”
Rudd has added a spot of exercise on an empty stomach to his morning regimen since changing his routine to train for Ant-Man. “I work out before I eat anything. “I would never have done it before [Ant-Man],” the actor, who was awarded People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, remarked.
Rudd feels that following a rigid pattern gives his days structure. “It sounds awful. It truly isn’t. “I like regularity,” he said emphatically. The actor is now promoting the latest installment of his superhero series Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will be released in the United Kingdom on February 13.
