In a report on Spare that was published, Prince Harry described a confrontation between the two women after Meghan referred to Kate’s “baby brain because of her hormones” during a discussion prior to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May of 2018.

It was a month before the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that Kate made the decision to bring up the earlier chat with Meghan. At the time, Kate had just given birth to her third child, Prince Louis.

“It caused such a huge row because Meghan was told that she wasn’t close enough to her sister-in-law to discuss her hormones, and it wasn’t the way people spoke to each other within the Royal Family.” Reportedly, the rebuke left Meghan feeling insulted and humiliated in turn.

During her interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, Meghan had already spoken over the controversy surrounding the bridesmaid outfits.

After it was claimed by many media sites that Meghan was responsible for causing Kate to weep in the months leading up to the royal wedding because of Princess Charlotte’s outfit, Meghan provided her own account of the events. She said that “the opposite took place.”

“And I don’t say this to be disrespectful to anybody, because it was a very difficult week leading up to the wedding, and she was frustrated over something.

However, she accepted responsibility for her actions and sent me an apology message along with a bouquet of flowers “Meghan added.
