The internet is rife with “Git Up Challenge” videos that make us smile from ear to ear. This one may cause your mouth to drop and leave you asking, “Who cranked up the heat?”

Blanco Brown and his country rap music were responsible for the Get Up Challenge going viral.
Over the summer of 2019, people of all ages and occupations shared videos of their line-dancing talents on social media. There are predefined motions to Brown’s mega-hit, but the rest is up to the participant. Police boogied on the side of the road, pregnant ladies boogied in their living rooms, and instructors turned their classrooms into a dancehall.
While most challenge films are upbeat, the one below is a little more, hmm, intense? Prepare for a spicy rendition with six hot cowboys.
The video was shot in Maui, Hawaii, with lush nature in the background. It appeared to be warm there, but it was going to become significantly hotter.
Every man is dressed in jeans, a bolo tie, and a red hat. Thankfully, the outfit did not include a shirt (which surely made a lot of people happy).
The audience seemed to be ecstatic about the performance from the start. When the males swivel their hips, they cry “Kihei, Kihei!” and go wild. That’s right, it was going to be that type of concert!
It’s a Git Up Challenge that’s difficult to look away from.
The males join in on the song’s addictive routine, dancing the “two-step,” “cowboy boogie,” and “hoedown.” They’re not completely in sync at all times, but no one seemed to be complaining about the performance.
Allison Lee is the one in charge of posting the video to YouTube. She wrote in the video’s description:
“Shiny males with terrific cardio (specializing in Maui bachelorette parties) execute a lightly prepared rendition of “the git up” to shrieks of surprise and excitement… reports of those watching now laughing…
Throughout the performance, the audience cheers, laughs, and whistles. There was probably a lot of swooning going on as well.
As we all know, each Git Up Challenge submission is distinct in its own way. For this one, the boys decided to add an extra prop to make it more interesting.
Soon after, each guy is given his own stick pony to utilize for the dance. They even start riding them while galloping in a circle, much to the joy of the spectators.
It’s a lighthearted performance that has many people’s hearts racing. One spectator made the following amusing observation:
“Let’s be real. These people had the ability to It would have been hot for me because I’m a Little Teapot!!!”
Another woman intended to view the video over and over.
“OMG!!! I could watch this all day… In fact, I’m so excited that I’m going to watch this all day! Thank you for spreading joy!”
