Sometimes we just need a song like this from Reba to heal our hearts

It’s about time we heard “Pray for Peace” by Reba McEntire again.
The world might feel like a roller coaster ride at times.

Sometimes we just need a song like this from Reba to heal our spirits.

It’s a straightforward tune, with both the video and Reba’s lyrics asking the audience to do just what the title suggests.

Whatever your beliefs are, reach out and murmur a prayer, share words of consolation, or even contribute to those in need.

It’s a basic yet effective tune.

Reba even explained how she came up with the idea.
“Every time I watch the news, I’m simply hoping for a nice conclusion,” she explained. “Unfortunately, those stories are not common.” I find myself wishing for world peace and a better conclusion. I wrote “Pray for Peace” because I truly believe in the power of prayer.

“I believe that this music is a gift from God.” I’ve never worked on a song for as long as I have on this one.
“It progressed from a bass drum, fiddle, and vocalists to guest artists singing alongside me, more instruments, and even a choir and bagpipes!”

“It’s an act of endurance, prayer, hope, camaraderie, and, most importantly, love,” McEntire said.

Reba repeats “Pray for peace” over and over again during the first two minutes of the song.
Perhaps the world requires the repetition of those three words.

as though a hammer were repeatedly striking nails on wood.

It includes over 50 fan-submitted films, including those by Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, and Caroline Kole.

Following the premiere of the video, celebrities like Amy Grant, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, and The Band Perry shared their own “Pray for Peace” images.
