The last round of tryouts for America’s Got Talent: All-Stars was nothing short of spectacular.
Monday saw the airing of the last episode of tryouts for the America’s Got Talent extension season, which featured the final ten artists vying for the last available position in the show’s grand finale.
Singer Daneliya Tuleshova (winner of America’s Got Talent season 15), magician Eric Chien (winner of Asia’s Got Talent 2019 and winner of America’s Got Talent season 14), choir Voices of Hope Children’s Choir (winner of America’s Got Talent season 13), poet Brandon Leake (winner of America’s Got Talent season 15), animal act Lukas and Falco (winner of Das Supertalent and winner of America’s Got Talent season 14), (AGT seasons 15-17).
Due to the fact that all of the judges, including Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum, as well as the host Terry Crews, had already used their Golden Buzzers, and the Group Golden Buzzer was awarded the previous week, the superfan vote would only be able to send one act through to the finals of the competition.
It all came down to poet Brandon Leake, comedian Josh Blue, and singer Kodi Lee, who were declared the top three acts, but Terry later revealed that Kodi had won the vote of the superfans.
After the thrilling event, Kodi expresses his amazement by saying, “Oh my my, that was so fantastic, it makes me happy that they chose me.”
Fans may remember that Kodi, now 26, mesmerized both the crowd and the judges during season 14 of America’s Got Talent.
As a result, he was awarded the Golden Buzzer by judge Gabrielle Union, who was serving at the time, and went on to win the whole competition.
In addition to his incomparable singing abilities, Kodi has become a fan favorite due in large part to the narrative of his life. The man originally from Lake Elsinore, California, was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, and at the age of 4, he was given a diagnosis of autism.
His mother Tina appeared on stage with him during the whole of the competition, she has continued to do so as he performs in Las Vegas and on his comeback for America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.
Tina is clearly Kodi’s greatest fan, but she confesses that she was taken aback when her son got the superfan vote during Monday’s program despite the fact that she is Kodi’s biggest fan.
Tina explains, “I’m the more suspicious one, and I was even surprised by myself, since there are so many fantastic performances [this season].” “I mean, please don’t misunderstand; I do adore my kid. He is my all-time favorite performer, however, there is a great deal of talented people in the world.”
Tina says that it was very special for her to see how much her son has developed in the time since he first appeared on America’s Got Talent. Kodi is currently performing in Las Vegas at the Luxor Theater, and he has just released two new singles: “Miracle” and “Hello World.”
“I had a hard time processing his victory at first because it seemed so unreal to me, but now that I think about it, I’m so proud of what he’s done for the people, and it warms my heart to see how they react to him.
I’m so happy of what he’s done for the people. The question that comes to mind for me is, “How was it that I was given such a lovely child?” It’s hard to get my head around the fact that I’m truly his mother “Tina continues. ”
The roster for the AGT: All-Stars finale is now complete with the addition of Kodi.
