Marc Anthony is clearly smitten with his soon-to-be mother and their unborn child.
The singer, who is 54 years old, and Nadia Ferreira, who just got married last month, made their first red-carpet appearance together on Thursday at the Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro award show in Miami. This was their first public appearance together since she announced her pregnancy on Valentine’s Day.
Anthony wrapped one arm over Ferreira’s lower back as he smiled at the expectant mother while he gently cradled her baby belly with the other arm.
Ferreira, who is 23 years old, was wearing a garment that was quite long and a very light lavender hue.
When photographers took their picture, she smiled just as broadly as Anthony had, this time staring directly into her husband’s eyes. Later on that evening, Anthony was presented with an award for tropical album of the year for Pa’llá voy.
Before Anthony took the stage to accept the trophy, he first congratulated his wife and then her growing baby bulge.
The singer of the popular song “You Sang to Me” closed his remarks with some words for Ferreira after he had thanked everyone who had been part in the endeavor as well as his followers.
In Spanish, he expressed his affection for Ferreira by telling her, “Mami, te amo.” “Te amo,” she said as the cameras shifted to focus on her reaction to what was happening.
Afterwards, Anthony published a photograph that he had taken of Ferreira holding the medal in front of her pregnant belly when he was taking the picture backstage at the Miami-Dade Arena using his mobile phone.
In the endearing post, he jokingly quipped, “Baby is pleased too!”
In a post they made jointly on Instagram on February 14, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together and called it the “Best Valentine’s Gift Ever!!!”
There was a glimpse of Ferreira’s baby bulge in the snapshot, with her hand on Anthony’s hand as he put it on her tummy. The couple wrote in Spanish. “Gracias a Dios por esta bendición tan grande en nuestras vidas.”
The musician has a huge mixed family, which includes his twin children, Maximilian “Max” David and Emme Maribel, who are now 15 years old and are from a former marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
Moreover, Anthony is the shared parent of Cristian Marcus, 22, and Ryan Adrian Muiz, 19, with Dayanara Torres.

At a wedding that took place on January 28 at the Pérez Art Museum in Miami, Anthony and Ferreira recently exchanged their vows and said “I do.”
