The pilot addresses the passengers -“I’m going to try to make things as smooth as possible since we have a VIP on board”…

This pilot addresses the passengers on board the aircraft over the aircraft’s intercom system, informing them, “I’m going to try to make things as smooth as possible since we have a VIP on board.”

After that, he continues by discussing the VIP passenger and his previous experiences. “Now, let’s talk about this really important person. He was born in Portmore, Jamaica, which is a tiny village in Jamaica, although he is originally from Kingston.

I suppose that in the late 1960s he made the move from Jamaica to the city of Toronto in Canada. After that, he relocated to New Jersey, and these days you can find him residing in the charming community of Kennesaw, Georgia. My father is the person I’m referring to here.”

The pilot then goes on to explain to the passengers why he finds this particular moment to be so meaningful.

“I choked back the tears as best I could. I didn’t think I’d weep, but this flight is really significant to me and has a lot of personal memories for me. It’s my first time flying with my dad, and I couldn’t be more excited!

And all I can say is that I’m grateful beyond words and feel incredibly privileged to have my dad on board and in addition, I want to express my gratitude to you, Dad, for all that you’ve done for me.”

“Once again, I’d want to extend a warm greeting to everyone of you. I’ll make sure you reach your destination in one piece, because if i don’t, he won’t let me go.

I’d want to say thanks to everyone. Oh, and yesterday was also the day we celebrated his birthday, so, happy birthday to him, too.”
