The way these dogs hugged each other when they found out…

A routine dog walk turned out to be a pleasant reunion for two cockapoo dogs that had been separated from their owners for a long time.

Dave Pincher, the father of Libby Pincher, was out walking his one-year-old cockapoo Monty in Ayecliffe, County Durham, when he saw another dog owner walking a dog that looked identical to Monty, her name is Rosie.

It only took a few minutes for the dogs to wrap their paws around each other as if they were embracing, and the owners were able to communicate with one another.

After talking a bit, they were able to figure out that the dogs were from the same breed but had been separated when they were adopted by different households.

This made the proprietors pleased as well, and they embraced each other as a result.

Despite the fact that Monty and Rosie haven’t seen each other in a while, Susan says that they plan to get together soon:

“When we are allowed to go out and meet people again, we are going to get together and, as it’s almost Rosie and Monty’s first birthday, hopefully we can do something together to celebrate it.”

Now that these two dogs have been reunited, we can only hope that they have many more enjoyable encounters in the future.
