BeReal is a new social media application that aims to provide a more real method to communicate your experience on social media as it provides “a new and unique approach to discover who your friends really are in their everyday lives,”.
Users share a photo, known as a “BeReal,” inside a random 2-minute window each day from wherever they are, doing whatever they are doing on the app BeReal. As a result, you are unlikely to find glossy, styled photographs that have been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable.
It informs you at the start of the 2-minute posting window, but since the window varies on a daily basis, you can’t plan ahead of time what you’ll be doing during that time. Photographs taken with both your front and back cameras are uploaded to the app at the same time during that time period, and the two photographs are synced together.
Since its launch in 2019, BeReal has been downloaded and installed on about 7.5 million devices.
What you need to know about the app is that you are not required to post, that’s perfectly OK, but if you do not, you will not be able to see the posts made by others.
When using the app, you must actively interact in order to see what other people are doing. Because it is necessary for individuals to post in order to view the postings of others, it guarantees that everyone participates.
