A lady who wanted to express her gratitude to a foster family that took care of her 30 years ago made a request on a Facebook Group.

Jessica Cressey said that she was seeking for the “beautiful couple” who took her home at a tough period in her childhood.

Some of her best childhood memories were created as a result of their love and generosity, recollections that she has held on to to this day. Jessica started her investigation by referring to these recollections of the past.

After her real mother had mistreated her, she stated, she was put in the foster care system and has been there ever since. “I was seized from a hotel in downtown Revelstoke where my biological mother had left me alone in the hotel room for many days,” she said in her letter.

She started to alternate between two foster homes, one for the weekends and the other for the weekdays, and she was eventually placed in both.

“I’m praying and hoping that I will be able to locate them because I would want to express my gratitude and appreciation to them,” Jessica said in her plea. “This was a nice pair who demonstrated a love that I had never seen before. Mr. Abe and Mrs. ‘B’ are the only names I can recall.”

Jessica shared her memories of growing up in a woodland location, where she and her family raised chickens.

Jessica has been completely blown away by the reaction. “I am completely overwhelmed and am still in a state of disbelief. I would want to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and every single individual who shared and replied to the post.”

She informed everyone that she had made contact with Mrs. B. and expressed gratitude to the whole community for assisting her “in healing another chapter in the life.”
