A wedding is a celebration of love, commitment, and the coming together of two people in one union. And every occasion for celebration is made twice as enjoyable when it is enjoyed with loved ones, friends, and family.
One of the most touching moments of the wedding ceremony is when the bride dances with her father for the final time.
Sadly, not many brides are gifted with the opportunity to relish a moment such as this, which is particularly unfortunate in the case that their father has already passed on to heaven.
Kaley West Young, a beautiful bride from Utah, is in the same position as the last example. Due to the fact that Kaley’s father has already passed away, she has already reconciled the fact that she would not be able to dance with her father on the most important day of her life.
However, the beautiful bride was unaware that her kind brothers wouldn’t want to let her wonderful day go by without having a father-and-daughter dance.
As a result, Kaley was completely taken aback when one of her brothers surprised her with a performance of Michael Bolton’s “Fathers and Daughters.” Her brothers came up to her one at a time, held her by the hand, and swayed her to the tune of the emotional song.
Along with the moving music that was playing in the background, Kaley’s five older brothers, Kevin, Dustin, Danny, Derek, and Kasey, took turns dancing with her. The heartrending occasion was made even more emotional by the fact that a recording of the bride’s father’s voice was playing in the background while the distraught bride and her considerate brothers danced.
“Hi Kaley! My name is Dave West, and I take great pride in being Kaylie’s father. And I adore her a great deal, equivalent to 1,800 times over.”
According to Kevin West, Kaley’s older brother, his dad was Kaley’s role model, and that inspired them to make sure that their father’s presence would still be felt in the most special day of Kaley’s life.
The kind gesture that Kaley’s brothers put together as an unique homage for her is something for which she is really thankful.
