Vickie Lynn Hogan, Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, was born in Houston, Texas. Her mother was supposedly strict; therefore, she had a difficult childhood.
Anna was transferred to live with her aunt in Mexia, a town of roughly 7000 inhabitants in Texas, when she was 15 years old. She attended Mexia High School until the tenth grade, when she dropped out.
She was apparently unhappy at Mexia High because she was regularly b*llied. Anna would purchase a huge dr*nk at Krispy Fried Chicken while seeming depressed.
Anna, who was 17 at the time, soon acquired a position at the restaurant and began working there. In 1986, she was 19 years old and left Mexia for Houston.
She had to settle for jobs at Walmart and Red Lobster since she lacked a high school diploma and work experience. When that wasn’t enough, she started working as a dancer at a Houston str*p joint.
Anna met and dated the restaurant’s fry chef, Billy Smith, while working at Krispy Fried Chicken, and they eventually married.
Billy Smith, a high school dropout, was 16 years old at the time, and Anna was a year older. Her marriage gave her the surname “Smith.”
When Anna was 18 years old, the couple had a kid called Daniel Smith. Nevertheless, their relationship did not continue, and Anna left her son with her mother a year later to relocate to Houston.
Anna began receiving breast augmentation surgery to improve her shape while working as a dancer, and it did not take long for her to make a name for herself.
Howard Marshall II became a billionaire after investing in Koch Industries. After his wife died, he began seeing Lady Walker, an exotic dancer. They had been together for ten years until her terrible death.
Marshall, 86 at the time, apparently had no desire to live when he came into the str*p joint where Anna worked in 1991. Once she walked over to where he was seated, he requested that she dance for him.
Marshall invited her to lunch the next day and soon after purchased a ranch, costly jewelry, a Benz, and paid for further breast augmentation surgery for her.
The millionaire allegedly begged Anna to marry him many times, even attempting it once at a Red Lobster restaurant, but she declined. Anna Nicole allegedly desired to establish a name for herself.

Her ambition was fulfilled in 1993, when she was crowned Playmate of the Year by Playboy Magazine after appearing in several of its issues. She began modeling after signing with a Hollywood talent agency.
Marshall, 89, and Anna, 26 years old, married in 1994 after years of the oil billionaire begging her to marry him. Daniel, her son, was the ring bearer during the wedding.
Howard Marshall became ill and was admitted to the hospital after only six months of marriage. His son Pierce was given power of attorney about this time, and the billionaire’s caregiver Betty Morgan was declared his legal guardian.
Doctor’s orders said she could only see him for 30 minutes each time, and his family stopped giving her money. She was upset and devastated as a result of the incident.
Marshall was proclaimed deceased in 1995, without including Anna in his will, when she was in New York, a year after their marriage.
Howard Marshall’s younger son Howard III, together with Anna Smith, went to court to oppose his father’s will. Howard III had been disinherited by his father before his death.
Pierce assured Anna that she would never receive anything from the estate since he felt she only married his father for money. First, the Texas probate court sided with Pierce and said that Anna and Howard III couldn’t have any of the billionaire’s money.
As the Texas lawsuit was going on, Anna subsequently filed for bankruptcy in a Federal court in California. Pierce was accused of meddling with her possible inheritance.
The federal court found in Anna’s favor, awarding her $474 million. This decision was subsequently appealed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Since the case had already been decided in a Texas probate court, the Court of Appeals said that a federal bankruptcy court did not have the right to hear it.
This disagreement over court judgments prompted an appeal to the United States Supreme Court, which agreed to hear the case and determine whether a federal court in California had jurisdiction over a Texas probate proceeding.
In 2006, the United States Supreme Court ruled in Anna’s favor, saying that she had a right to her half of the bequest and could keep fighting in court for it. Pierce Marshall died six months after this decision.
Anna’s career started to go downhill after her husband died, which was made worse by the court case and the attention it got from the public. She had left her modeling agency and agent, William Morris, and was also suffering from and receiving treatment for drug addiction.
Anna was given medicine for stomach pain, back pain from breast implants, migraines, and seizures, among other things. The media was also looking into why she was gaining weight.
She went away from the spotlight and, with the assistance of the weight reduction brand “TrimSpa,” shed around 69 pounds. These adjustments are said to have revitalized her.
She also began dating photographer Larry Birkhead, whom she met at a children’s camp charity event in Louisville, Kentucky. Birkhead moved in with her soon after they met.
Anna became pregnant at about this time. Relations between her and Birkhead deteriorated, prompting her to relocate to the Bahamas with Howard K. Stern, her manager and publicist.
On September 7, 2006, she gave birth to her daughter, Dannielynn. Anna’s oldest son, Daniel, paid her a visit at the hospital two days after she gave birth.
Anna awoke to find her child, who had apparently fallen asleep next to her, had perished. His death was determined to be the result of a drug overdose. He had taken Zoloft since he was nervous about his flight.
Anna met Brigitte Neven and King Eric Gibson, a local couple who guided tourists fishing in the Bahamas after her son died. She was quite close to them and felt tranquility while out on the water in their boat.
She liked it so much that she wanted to buy her own yacht. She finally found one in Florida. She was given a vitamin B12 shot and a human growth hormone shot on her left side before choosing the boat with Howard Stern.
Her left side began to ache during the journey, and by the time they landed, she was severely unwell with a fever of 105 degrees. She was persuaded to go to the hospital, but she refused.
Anna supposedly did not want the publicity it would bring. She remained ill at the hotel during the next three days, and when Stern departed to inspect the yacht they had come to buy, Anna died in her room.
Her death was eventually determined to be the result of an unintentional drug overdose, most likely caused by drugs she took after becoming ill at the hotel. She allegedly had no idea how dangerous the drug cocktail in her system was.
Anna Smith’s death triggered a paternity controversy. Howard Stern, her manager, was recognized as Dannielynn’s father on her birth certificate, while Smith’s ex-boyfriend Alexander Denk also claimed custody.
Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa Gabor’s fourth husband, has stated that he may also be the father. Following a DNA test, Birkhead was declared the biological father by a Bahamas tribunal.
When Dannielynn’s mother died, she was only five months old. Soon after the paternity test, Stern said he would not fight for custody.

Birkhead and Dannielynn were out of the spotlight for a few years because he wanted to give her time to grow up away from the spotlight. Several people were surprised when “E!” announced a new program on Birkhead and Dannielynn in 2003.
During the episode, Birkenhead confessed that Dannielynn knew her mother was famous and that if her mother was still alive, she would be doing her nails and bringing her shopping. Birkhead posted a picture of the father and daughter at the Kentucky Derby in 2019, which is where he and Smith first met.

Birkhead stated in interviews that firms had approached him to have Dannielynn model for them, but she was not interested in becoming a star like her mother.
Dannielynn took part in a unique campaign to commemorate her mother in 2012: the Guess Kids Campaign, which celebrated her mother’s work with the firm Guess. Birkhead added that it was a chance for her to be closer to her mother and pay honor to her.

The complaint brought by Anna’s estate against The Marshall estate was dismissed by U.S. District Judge David O. Carter. The ruling put an end to the lawsuit, which had been in court for over two decades.
Birkhead’s attorneys failed to offer enough proof of real losses, according to the judge, for him to be handed the punishments they requested. Anna’s daughter, Dannielynn, was allegedly scheduled to get $50 million if the case was successful.

In his judgment, Carter accused the Marshall estate of deleting and falsifying documents, attempting to deceive a sitting federal judge, and willfully defying court orders.
Anna’s attorney, Phil Boesch, said that the Marshall estate’s stalling tactics had cost them the opportunity to secure a judgment in California before the Texas court determined Yet, Carter stated that the dispute had gone on for much too long.
