Street performers frequently assist travelers in understanding the culture of the city and nation they are visiting. Walking around the streets of Galway, Ireland, it is always a joy to see the Irish dancers perform. Emma O’Sullivan, the All-Ireland Champion, is one of the dancers.
Emma O’Sullivan grew up in Connemara, Ireland, in the county of Galway. Emma has traveled the world dancing to traditional Irish music. Sean-nós is the sort of Irish dance she does, and she is renowned as the Queen of Sean-nós in Ireland! Even with a CV like hers, Emma has continued to dance on the streets of Galway for visitors and locals.
Emma’s street performances are often surrounded by a crowd of visitors and locals who come to witness her lovely dance. During one of these performances, an audience member stole the show from Emma, yet Emma appeared unconcerned! That’s because the show was stolen by the sweetest young child who wanted to dance like Emma!
The performance took place on Galway’s Shop Street. Emma wanted to share her “stage” after realizing she had the sweetest little dancer dancing alongside her. Emma pointed out the young dancer to her cameraman so he could capture the adorableness! Emma then danced up to the little child to encourage her!
The tiny child closely observes Emma’s feet, attempting to mimic every movement. Once she is at ease with her feet, she appears to add hands! When the audience discovers Emma has begun dancing for the small child, they all start watching her. At such a young age, she is already gaining attention for her dance!
The little girl turns to show off her movements to her family, and when she sees their joyful expressions, it’s game on! She moves closer to Emma O’Sullivan in order to dance with her. Emma and the audience are as enthralled as the small child. Many of the audience’s phone cameras and cameras focus on the tiny child!
The audience erupted in applause at the end of the performance! Not only did Emma O’Sullivan receive applause, but so did the small child. Even Emma applauds for the tiny child, who appears to be too little to comprehend! The small girl glances around and begins to clap her hands. Brava!
What a touching moment for both the little child and Emma O’Sullivan. It’s incredible that a professional dancer not only continues to give to street performers but also includes this small daughter! The little girl’s family will never forget this event. Perhaps this is merely the beginning of this little girl’s dance career!
