The one sequel Jennifer Aniston wouldn’t do…

Jennifer Aniston’s roles in The Morning Show, The Break-Up, Horrible Bosses, Marley & Me, and, of course, the adored ’90s sitcom Friends have made her a household name over the course of her decades-long career. But the Golden Globe winner revealed the one role she would never play again in a recent interview.

Yahoo! Entertainment enquired about Aniston’s participation in any of the biggest follow-ups to her movies. The interviewer brought up the fact that she “didn’t return” for the Leprechaun sequels after revealing that “there was talk” about making a sequel to the popular 2013 comedy We’re the Millers, which ultimately “didn’t happen.” Aniston replied, “No, I had had it with leprechauns,” before joking, “That was enough luck for me.”

The Friends star reacted when she was informed of the horror series’ seven follow-ups, which include Leprechaun in the Hood and Leprechaun 4: In Space: “They went to space? What happened in space, wow!

Aniston made her acting debut in the 1993 horror movie, which tells the tale of a wicked Leprechaun (played by Warwick Davis) who goes on a murderous rampage in an effort to find his missing pot of gold.

Aniston discussed her experience filming the Mark Jones-directed comedy-horror during a 2019 appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, saying she felt like she had “arrived” when the movie came out. She admitted to radio host Howard Stern that when she rewatched Leprechaun with her now-ex-husband, Justin Theroux, she kept “waking in and out” and “cringing” and that she “really did think it was an amazing thing that I was in a movie.”

“We were a couple. I tried to pry the remote from his grasp, but it was one of those situations where I couldn’t succeed. She remembered that he said, “No, no, no, no, this is happening.
