Bus driver noticed the boy’s hands and ears were flushed red because he wasn’t bundled up for the cold. So he jumped into action to help the little boy

John Lunceford, a bus driver in the Kennewick School District in Washington, often transports students to and from school. On this particular wintery day, though, he spotted a small kid weeping as he boarded the bus.

Lunceford observed the boy’s hands and ears were red from not being properly dressed for the cold. The US Army veteran stepped into action right away, and what he did to aid the distressed youngster in need captured hearts both locally and internationally.

The Kennewick School District shared the story on Facebook:

The school got an “overwhelming and wonderful response to this tale,” as well as gifts to assist additional students in need of gloves, hats, shoes, and other items.
