Both Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have experienced what it is like to live a life that is always in the public eye, and as a result, after they started dating, they made an effort to keep as much of their personal lives private as they could.

The mother of two did have a social media account, in contrast to her long-term spouse, she was not one to post very often about Gosling or their kids, Esmerelda, 7, and Amada, 5, who are all 7 years old.

But after a year that caused a lot of people to take a step back and examine things, she has entirely deleted everything from her Instagram account.

In February of 2018, the actress responded to a commenter who hypothesized that Eva Mendes’ lack of social media activity was due to the fact that she had “work done” on her face and was unhappy with the outcomes of the procedure.

When asked about it at the time, the celebrity answered, “I’m posting less because I genuinely want to be there for my family and I need to be here for my children, yet blogging takes up too much of my time.

In terms of getting stuff done, I’m free to do it whenever it best suits me. But unfortunately, that’s not the case at all, the reason for this is that I just am unable to balance my time between my family and social media.”

When we fast forward to current year, we see that everything that was on her page has been deleted, deleting the tender moments that Mendes did sometimes share with her admirers

However, he did provide us with a glimpse into his personal life, when he was receiving his Golden Globe for best actor in a musical or comedy for his performance in La La Land.

“I would like to try and thank one person properly and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano, and having one of the best experiences I ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer,” he said in 2017.

“If she hadn’t taken all of that on so that I could have this experience, it would undoubtedly be someone else up here other than me today,” he added. “She did all of that so that I could have this opportunity. Therefore, my darling, I am grateful. I want to express my love to my kids, Amada and Esmeralda.”
